I am learning to answer the questions using complete sentences with evidence from the text. The text is interesting and it is challenging my thinking. I also get to compare and contrast the playground in the story and our school playground.

Ta'o pai siamu 'a Langiola mo Anthony
Today Langiola and Anthony were learning how to bake/make pai siamu.
Ingredients:
Flour
Butter
Strawberry Jam
Sugar
Coconut Milk
Utensils:
Teaspoon
Measuring cup
Big Bowl
Baking Tin
How to Make it
Warning - Before you start making your Pai Siamu You always need to remember to wash your hands before baking
To begin, pour 4 measuring cups of flour into the large mixing basin.
Second, after pouring the 4 cups of flour into the large mixing bowl, scoop out 250 grams of butter.
Third, after placing the flour and butter in the large mixing bowl, squeezing the flour and butter together is the first step.
Fourth, as long as the flour and butter are clinging to your hands, all you have to do is rub it off.
- Fifth, pour the coconut milk into the large mixing basin and stir it thoroughly.
Sixth, take a handful of flour, butter, and coconut milk in one hand and roll it into a dough.
Finally, after rolling it out, apply strawberry jam all over it, then dust your hands with flour to keep it from sticking to your hands, and fold each side however you prefer.

Tau’olunga, or known as dance in Tongan. Tau’olunga is what Tongan people do at special occasions and or events, a tau’olunga is always performed or presented by a woman/girl. A tau’olunga is usually performed by a group of girls up to 10 or more, or it is performed individually.
Tau'olunga is a Tongan dance replicated from the Samoan Taualuga, so tau’olunga basically originated from Samoa. Though many of the movements or motifs within the tau’olunga come from the more ancient “ula” dance. The ula, or known as fa’ahi-ula or faha’iula is a group of young chiefly daughters. In Tongan culture fa’ahi-ula is where the girls/women would show-case their beauty and their grace, in Tonga there would be different girls from different villages participating in the fa’ahi-ula during po-ula nights. One would either be presented to the king or the king would select one of his choice.

Ballad poem by Marilyn
I am attempting to write a ballad poem and this was the first thing that comes to mind.
My God poem. By Marilyn.
My GOD is so BIG! My GOD is so MIGHTY!
My GOD is LOVE!
The greatest power and gift yet it is so small.
God is Love, Love, Love, Love!
Love is a gift from God to be shared amongst us all.
Love is the key to everything and everyone
Love is in your soul love is all around you
Love has a language on its own.
MY GOD is Love, Love, Love, Love!
Love comes in different shapes and form
It can be huge, it can be big, it can be small and it can be tiny
But what count is the thought behind it
My GOD is Love, Love, Love, Love!
Love is like an illusion, it’s elusive that you can feel it but you cannot touch it
Love is everywhere. God gives you love and faith
God delivers you from evil because of his Love!
He dies on the cross for you and me
My God is Love Love Love Love!
Acrostic poem about family by 'Ana and Selu
Second and hopefully the last and final copy: We like to read poems but we don't like to write them. This week we read and compose our own poem. It was a struggle but we have fun and this is what we end up with.
Family
F - family is like a tree with many branches that bloom throughout the year
A - And bears beautiful fruits where some are sour and others are sweet
M - Maintaining peace is the hardest thing amongst the siblings
I - Igniting love takes a bit of time because we need to forgive and try to forget the annoying ones
L - Love, laugh and cry is a cycle we go through with each other
Y - Yesterday, today and tomorrow family is the only thing that remains attached to its roots.
When we are young, we are strong because our family supports us to grow.
And when we are old we are slow but that is alright because family is there to help you carry on.
Covid is full of disappointment because I can’t see my friends from day to day.
But family is there and bonds will get stronger helping each other.
That proves that family is life and family is the only thing that you can rely on when God is the head of it all.

Vaccine acrostic poem by Cedric
Acrostics are poems that begin with a title.
The use of each letter per line is so vital.
Vaccines can give you side effects and may kill you.
Acording to the New Zealand news, you cannot die. from the corona if you get the vaccine.
Corona is a really bad virus so beware.
Contribute and isolate.
Isolate and stay in your bubble before you make the cases worse.
N eed to get outside and spread your legs cause Minister Chris Hipkins said. “Wehh stretch”

Simplifying ratio to the simplest form by Cedric
Fika -
WALT converts the ratios into the simplest form.
Write each ratio in its simplest form
Eg 1 : 12 to 36 = 12 x1 : 12 x 3 (divides by 12 both sides)
1 : 3
Eg 2 : 35 : 15 = 5 x 7 : 5 x 3 (divided by 5 both sides)
7 : 3
25 to 125 = 25 x 1 : 25 x 5 = 1 : 5 | 24 : 72 = 24 x 1 : 24 x 3 = 1 : 3 |
45 to 180 = 45 x 1 : 45 x 4 = 1 : 4 | 14 : 56 = 14 x 1 : 14 x 4 = 1 : 4 |
36 : 12 = 12 x 3 : 12 x 1 = 3 : 1 | 28 to 56 = 28 x 1 : 28 x 2 = 1 : 2 |
14 : 56 = 14 x 1 : 14 x 4 = 1 : 4 | 42 : 21 = 21 x 2 : 21 x 1 = 2 : 1 |
15 : 30 = 15 x 1 : 15 x 2 = 1 : 2 | 33 : 55 = 11 x 3 : 11 x 5 = 3 : 5 |
58 to 174 = 58 x 1 : 58 x 3 = 1 : 3 | 90 to 150 = 30 x 3 : 30 x 5 = 3 : 5 |
21 to 84 21 x 1 : 21 x 4 = 1 : 4 | 70 to 140 = 70 x 1 : 70 x 2 = 1 : 2 |
13 : 65 = 13 x 1 : 13 x 5 = 1 : 5 | 15 : 75 = 5 x 3 : 5 x 15 = 3 : 15 |
30 to 90 = 30 x 1 : 30 x 3 = 1 : 3 | 51 to 153 = 51 x 1 : 51 x 3 = 1 : 3 |
75 to 150 = 75 x 1 : 75 x 2 = 1 : 2 | 40 to 160 = 40 x 1 : 40 x 4 = 1 : 4 |
10 : 90 = 10 x 1 : 10 x 9 = 1 : 9 | 12 : 60 = 12 x 1 : 12 x 5 = 1 : 5 |
44 : 55 = 11 x 4 : 11 x 5 = 4 : 5 | 29 : 37 = 1 x 29 : 1 x 37 = 29 : 37 |
12: 8 = 4 x 3 : 4 x 2 = 3 : 2 | 2: 20 = 2 x 1 : 2 x 10 = 1 : 10 |
3: 36 = 3 x 1 : 3 x 12 = 1 : 12 | 8: 16 = 8 x 1 : 8 x 2 = 1 : 2 |
10: 50 = 10 x 1 : 10 x 5 = 1 : 5 | 100: 10 = 10 x 10 : 10 x 1 = 10 : 1 |
10: 60 = 10 x 1 : 10 x 6 = 1 : 6 | 35: 45 = 5 x 7 : 5 x 9 = 7 : 9 |
21: 49 = 7 x 3 : 7 x 7 = 3 : 7 | 20: 40 = 20 x 1 : 20 x 2 = 1 : 2 |
