Problem solving - Davlyn

I am learning to create a comic strip outlining how to carry out certain mathematical process, like long division, fractions, or order of operations. By adding in their own backgrounds they can include visual and textual explanation.
Creating this comic helps me consolidate my learning. I really enjoyed creating work on Pixton.

Free writing - Vaiola

I enjoyed going through the Wonderopolis website https://www.wonderopolis.org/wonders. We chose the wonders of the day, read a little bit more information then create a comic to share what I have learnt. It is really fun. This is what I have learnt about Hellen Keller. It is and amazing story.

Endangered animal - Jairus

In this activity, I chose two endangered animals and explain why they are extinct?  After that, I create this comic to share my learning. I really like using Pixton to share my work.

Ako evening

Fight to Vote - Room 8 (Vaiola's reading group)

Most of Term 1 and the first half of Term 2 we have been working on our integrated Reading, Writing and Inquiry project and this is one of the readings that we chose. We read about it then choose our own form of creation to show off what we have learnt so we decided to create this drama about the Women Suffrage! We find it interesting that women had to fight to have a say. We really enjoyed learning about the History of Aotearoa. We hope that you will enjoy our learning. Malo 'aupito.
