An explanation about climate change by Esile

I enjoyed learning about climate change. I can see some of the effects that are happening in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands especially Tonga. We have read and watched videos on youtube about the many cyclones that happen in Tonga and it getting worse and more frequent.

Topic: Climate change Why does climate change matter? Climate change is a big challenge for the world. The greenhouse gases are great for the world but it is rapidly increasing that is making our planet too warm. There are more intense droughts and New Zealand has a water shortage.

Firstly, climate change is by nature and from people using cars, boiling hot water, because as the smoke goes up into the air. The release of carbon dioxide will make our planet too warm than it already is so we need to start using electric cars, bikes, scooters and stop burning fossil fuels because when you burn fossil fuels they release carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases which trap heat in our atmosphere and do not cut trees as it is not only affecting animals but also people as cutting trees adds carbon dioxide to the air and removes the ability to absorb existing carbon dioxide.

Lastly, the reasons why climate change is bad climate change has made sea level rise throughout the years but the 2010s have been worse than it has ever been. Small Pacific islands are getting flooded. There are refugees that live in New Zealand because their houses get flooded so they get forced to live in New Zealand. Does climate change matter? Yes, it does as it makes our planet too warm, people are losing their homes, frequent bad weather cyclones and families in Tonga are badly affected.
